Parent & Family Day
Parent & Family Day is scheduled for Saturday, November 14 and is filled with fun activities for the whole family. The day will kick off with the UCR Parents Association Fall Meeting and will include campus showcase activities, ScotFest and the Homecoming men’s basketball game against William Jessup University. Volunteer Opportunities
Get Involved and Get Rewarded
Parent volunteers are needed for a number of opportunities in the month of November. Each volunteer opportunity is worth one point. Upcoming events include:
  • Discover Day - November 7
  • Elysian Park Clean Up – November 8
  • Parent & Family Day – November 14

First Year Mentor Program
First-year students that register for the First Year Mentor Program are paired with a trained peer mentor (sophomore, junior, or senior student). The mentors will help first year students with their transition to the university and make them feel at home in the academic environment.

Orange County Regional Event
Alumni, parents and friends are invited to an evening with UCR baseball head coach and UCR alumnus Troy Percival. Come meet the former Angels pitcher and World Series Champion at this special reception at Angel Stadium and hear about the exciting future of Highlander Baseball!
